Remote Legal Recruiter

We are looking for a Legal Recruiter who excels at finding and placing attorneys at companies and law firms. This individual is passionate about finding the right job match for candidates and the right candidate match for clients. The role involves working with clients to identify and understand their staffing needs, as well as overseeing a recruitment pipeline.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify and source top legal talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
  • Screen resumes and applications to ensure alignment with client requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with legal professionals to assess their skills, experience, and career goals.
  • Submit attorneys to positions.
  • Request, author, compile, and send required submission documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage the interview process between candidates and clients.
  • Conduct pre-and-post interview follow-ups.
  • Negotiate and facilitate offers between clients and candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms, legal departments, and candidates.

Core Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum); JD preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large law firm (as an attorney or internal recruiter), legal recruiting firm, or law school career services OR
  • Non-lawyers with successful backgrounds, prior sales experience and knowledge of the legal market.

  • Google Workspace

  • Willingness to reach out to candidates and prospective clients through cold and warm calling.


Compensation: 50% to 70% Commission

$100,000 to $300,000+ annually
